The early voting period for the U.S Presidential Elections 2024 are kicking off on the date of September 26 and will be continued until November 4 which will be an added advantage to the voters. The Illinois Policy reported that the best way to cast vote is voting early by which an individual can avoid long queues on the voting day which is November 5.

Most of the counties in the US will have the facility of early voting which will take place at a specific location that will be the Office of the Clerk County and at some specific or chosen precints, some temporary polling stations will also be available. According to the Illinois Policy, the voters will have the chance of casting their vote for the White House, the Illinois Supreme Court, Illinois General Assembly, U.S. House, Chicago School Board and the Municipal Governments.

In Illinois, early voters can cast their ballot only if they are registered to vote in Illinois and nowhere else. Along with that, an individual needs to be a citizen of Illinois in their respective precint for at least 30 days prior to the election and obviously that individual needs to be a citizen of US. The Illinois Policy added, in order to cast their vote early, the citizen needs to be more than 18 years of age prior to the election taking place on November 5 and that certain citizen cannot vote anywhere else and cannot be serving a prison sentence.

The process and way outs of voting early are also pretty simple where a citizen has to register in their respective precint beforehand which has a deadline of October 20 and during voting early a form of identification is not mandatory even, though it is better to carry an ID for avoiding any hassles or confusion, reported the Illinois Policy. For every single address located within the precint, a temporary polling station might be provided or not, but, on the very election day polling places will be surely provided where the voters can go and vote in person.
