Hero Alaska Airlines pilot Emily Wiprud recounts how she safely landed a Boeing 737 MAX passenger plane after a door blew out mid-flight.
Ms Wiprud’s interview highlights concerns over the safety of the aircraft – which more Australians will soon fly in.
The door blowout on the Alaska Airlines flight was one of several incidents involving one of the world’s most used passenger planes, the Boeing 737 MAX.
Hundreds of 737 MAX planes were temporarily grounded as whistleblowers came forward to claim a culture of lax safety standards within Boeing.
The company has since paid out billions of dollars in compensation.
