Apple picking orchards to visit in RI
For a taste of fall, there’s nothing quite like the crispness of biting into an apple while standing in the orchard.

If there is one thing that is synonymous with fall in New England, it’s apple picking.
It’s the sort of fall bucket list item we all do year after year, heading out to orchard with family and friends to pluck our own fruit from the trees. The apples are just that much crisper, that much sweeter that it’s worth making an annual tradition of it. And, the cider donuts that most places are serving up don’t hurt either.
The questions is where is the best place to go. To find the best apple orchard in the state, we’re putting it to you in an unofficial poll. Vote below for your favorite spot.
Where’s the best apple orchard in Rhode Island? How does voting work?
We’re setting it up so people can vote once a day, which means if you really love an orchard, you can vote for it more than once. The voting for this poll will close on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 11 p.m. Winners will be announced the following week.
What do the winners get?
As this is an informal poll, the only thing in it for the winners is bragging rights.
