Now the No. 14 Cowboys (2-0) face their first road test of the season against old-time rival Tulsa at 11 a.m. CT Saturday from Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa. Oklahoma State leads the all-time series with the Golden Hurricane 13-1, including a dominant 66-17 victory last season.

Tulsa (1-1) won its opener against Northwestern State 62-28 in Week 1 but stumbled to a 28-24 loss to Arkansas State last week. Kirk Francis completed 16-of-28 passes for 199 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the loss to the Red Wolves. Kamdyn Benjamin was the main receiving threat for Francis with six grabs for 131 yards and a touchdown.
OSU star running back Ollie Gordon II scored a 12-yard touchdown in the second overtime and the Cowboys were able to force a turnover on downs from the Razorbacks to clinch the victory, despite trailing by as much as 21-7 in the first quarter.
