Wisconsin Badgers cornerback Ricardo Hallman on loss to Alabama
Badgers football standout cornerback Ricardo Hallman discusses his team’s loss to Alabama at Camp Randall Stadium on Sept. 14.
“Jump Around” is a sacred tune around Madison, Wisconsin.
So, it’s never a good sign when the opposing team in Camp Randall Stadium is jumping around on the sideline as House of Pain’s hit song plays before the fourth quarter.
But with 15 minutes left in Alabama’s 42-10 blowout win over Wisconsin, the celebration was well underway for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama’s players fully enjoyed themselves as they participated in the game day tradition in Madison with fans in the stands who were likely trying to forget that their team was trailing 35-10.
Junior wide receiver Germie Bernard and Alabama earned the right.
“We were on the sideline jumping up and down, Bernard said. “Exciting and enjoying the togetherness of our team.”

Bernard was a full participant in jumping around, but then he threw shade at “Jump Around,” nonetheless, in his postgame interview.
“Honestly, we had a tough week of practicing, listening to that jump song,” said Bernard, when asked if Alabama made a statement coming on the road and putting up such a convincing win. “We was just ready to shut that weak ass song down.”
Bernard and Alabama certainly shut down the Badgers.
He had three catches for 55 yards and a touchdown, including the game-changing TD reception before halftime that put Alabama up 21-3.
