From haunted houses to scary corn mazes, here’s your guide to Halloween haunts this year.
Oklahoma Asylum Haunted Attraction
The Asylum is Oklahoma’s opener for the spooky season with their haunted attraction starting on Sept. 13 in Nowata, Oklahoma, which is north of Tulsa.
As The Asylum’s story goes, it is housed in a former mental institution that was the site of a horrible fire decades ago. Experience The Asylum was inspired by unrestricted operations of sanitariums in the 1940s.
A few precautions ahead of the experience from the Asylum: do not wear your best clothing or shoes and expect blood. Children under 13 will not be allowed without a parent or guardian.
Fright Fest at Frontier City
If scary coasters, haunted mazes and scare zones are your thing, Fright Fest will start their haunts and ghouls on Sept. 14.
Brave this popular Oklahoma City theme park’s spine-tingling evening experience, encased in eerie fog, menacing music and vintage monsters galore. Daredevils are invited to ride rollercoasters in the dark of night.
