The Cowboys enter this matchup after a 39-31 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in their last outing. The Golden Hurricane’s last game finished in a 28-24 loss to the Arkansas State Red Wolves. Brennan Presley totaled nine receptions for 91 yards (averaging 10.1 per catch), while scoring one touchdown against the Razorbacks. On the ground, he had rushing one attempt for three yards with one touchdown. Kirk Francis threw for 199 yards for the Cane against the Red Wolves, going 16-for-28 (57.1%) with one touchdown and one interception. Lloyd Avant put together a 14-carry, 61-yard game (4.4 yards per attempt), while tacking on two receptions for -2 yards . Benjamin caught six passes on 11 targets for 131 yards (21.8 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
