Perennial yuletide favorite Trans-Siberian Orchestra is returning to Oklahoma for two arena stops during the 2024 holiday season.
The multiplatinum-selling progressive rock group will play “The Lost Christmas Eve” 20th Anniversary Shows Dec. 6 at Tulsa’s BOK Center and Dec. 30 at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center.
This year’s tour marks the return of “The Lost Christmas Eve” to the stage for the first time since 2013. Fans can look for what’s billed as a new concert spectacle “packed with pyrotechnics, lasers, and the incredible storytelling synonymous with TSO.” Each show will continue with a high-energy second set featuring the group’s greatest hits and fan favorites.
What is Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s ‘The Lost Christmas Eve’ about?
The 2004 double-platinum album “The Lost Christmas Eve” marks the final chapter in Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas concept album trilogy, following 1996’s “Christmas Eve and Other Stories” and 1998’s “The Christmas Attic.”
“The Lost Christmas Eve” features standout tracks like “Christmas Canon Rock,” “Wizards In Winter,” and a poignant version of “What Child Is This?”
The album’s storyline follows a bitter old man wandering New York City alone on Christmas Eve. Once a rising star, he traded love, family and joy for a life of solitude and regret. The tragic loss of his wife hardened his heart, pushing him away from his infant son and into decades of isolation. Then, a chance encounter with a mysterious girl leads him to a life-altering phone call, giving him a second chance with his son.
To commemorate the album’s 20th anniversary, Rhino is releasing Sept. 13 “The Lost Christmas Eve” for the first time on vinyl with newly remastered sound. Available for pre-order, the vinyl collector’s editions come as 2-LP sets with special gatefold jackets and a deluxe 20-page book. Three exclusive vinyl editions also will be available: a crystal-clear version at Walmart, cobalt blue version at Target and a solar flare version at shop.trans-siberian.com.

The latest holiday favorites to announce their seasonal tour plans, TSO will return to Tulsa to perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at the BOK Center. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, and will be available online at www.bokcenter.com.
The beloved yuletide rock band will make one of its last stops of 2024 in Oklahoma City, where TSO will play two shows at Paycom Center. The OKC shows are set for 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 30 at the downtown arena.

Along with the 20th anniversary of “The Lost Christmas Eve,” Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s new winter tour will mark two more milestones as the group reaches its 20 millionth concertgoer and surpasses $20 million donated to charity. The group has built a longstanding tradition of donating at least $1 from every ticket sold, and all three 2024 Oklahoma concerts will benefit a different local nonprofit organization.
Presented by Tulsa radio station 92.9 The River, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to TSO’s BOK Center show will benefit Food for Kids/Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
In OKC, TSO’s matinee will be presented by local radio station Magic 104.1, with part of the proceeds benefiting the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The evening show will be presented by 100.5 The KATT, and the designated charity is Other Options.
Beginning with the public on-sale, a limited number of specially priced $49.99 tickets for the concerts will be available for one week or while supplies last.
