In response to the Bridge Fire, firefighters have called for evacuations while battling the blaze using both ground and aerial resources.
Meanwhile, Tim Walz, the Democratic Party’s vice presidential candidate, was forced to cancel a rally in Reno. “We will continue to work with federal, state and local partners to monitor the situation, and we urge the impacted communities to heed the evacuation and safety guidance from local authorities,” a campaign statement said.
