What to watch for during the Harris-Trump debate
This debate has potential to become the most watched debate as the 2024 race has been upended since Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic nominee.
The presidential debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Kamala Harris will air live on ABC Tuesday night.
That means viewers in central Pennsylvania will have to tune into WHTM in Harrisburg to watch the debate live. Other options include livestreams on ABC News Live, Hulu and Disney+, as well as NBC News’ livestream.

The debate may be the only one to pit the two candidates in this tight race. The candidates, according to the rules, will stand at podiums and their mics will be muted when they aren’t speaking. The debate is the only one scheduled, with less than two months before Election Day and may be the only time voters have a chance to see the two major party candidates on stage together.
The debate begins at 9 p.m. and is expected to last 90 minutes with two commercial breaks.
