Donald Trump will address “our struggling economy and the rising cost of housing” Thursday in Tucson, his campaign said Monday.
Trump will appear at Tucson Music Hall at 2 p.m. Thursday. The visit comes two days after Trump’s first televised debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, and he plans to take aim at her during his Arizona campaign trip.
“President Trump will highlight Kamala Harris’ devastating policies that have wreaked havoc on Arizonans and the many reasons Hispanic voters are flocking to the Republican Party,” the Trump campaign said in a written statement.
The Republican former president was most recently in the state last month for a rally in Glendale and a tour of the Arizona-Mexico border in Cochise County. GOP vice presidential candidate JD Vance was in the state for a two-day campaign swing last week.
Harris has also been dispatching top campaign members to Arizona lately. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, her running mate, will be in the state Tuesday ahead of the debate, and second gentleman Doug Emhoff is planning a visit in the days following the debate.
