The Georgia Bulldogs play their SEC opener and road opener at the Kentucky Wildcats 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 14. The game is televised on ABC. Georgia is a massive favorite against the Wildcats, who are coming off a ugly 31-6 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Georgia is 2-0 with wins over the Clemson Tigers and Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. The Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in the country, but they usually face a physical battle when they play Kentucky.

Kentucky injury report
The SEC will release injury reports for conference games on Wednesday and they will be updated 90 minutes before kickoff.
Georgia’s Key Players
Quarterback Carson Beck is the Bulldogs’ most important player. Beck and the Georgia offense could face rainy conditions against Kentucky, so we think it will be critical for Georgia’s offensive line to win in the trenches. Georgia center Jared Wilson will be a key player in the middle.
Defensively, outside linebacker Jalon Walker and defensive end Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins will look to apply pressure to a Kentucky offense that folded under fire in Week 2.
Kentucky’s Key Players
Quarterback Brock Vandagriff, a Georgia transfer, had an ugly performance against South Carolina. The Wildcats have to play better this week to have a chance against Georgia.
Kentucky defensive tackle Deone Walker is the Wildcats’ best player. Georgia-Kentucky games always start with the battle in the trenches.
Advice and prediction
Prediction: Georgia 38, Kentucky 10
Georgia is heavily favored, but it is hard to envision the Kentucky offense playing well against Georgia. The Wildcats really struggled in pass blocking situations against South Carolina. If Kentucky can’t run consistently, then Georgia will cover the huge point spread.
