Dowling Catholic scores walk-off touchdown to defeat rival Valley in overtime
Another wild week of Iowa high school football is in the books.
Class 5A’s top-ranked squad fell in their home stadium to its main rival, while the top-ranked team in every other class was able to stay out of harm’s way in Week 2. Several upsets occurred too, but the lion’s share of the top-5 teams in each class remained steady while some chaos ensured in the rest of the top 10.
Check out the Des Moines Register’s rankings ahead of Week 3’s action.
