Starting Tuesday, Colorado Department of Transportation crews will perform paving operations on U.S. Highway 40 between Tabernash and Granby. Between Sept. 10-12 motorists should expect delays, full stops and one-lane alternating traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The work will be happening on a segment of highway 2 miles east of Granby from milepoints 216-217. CDOT said that crews will work quickly as possible, but operations are weather dependent.
Impacts for motorists include up to 15 minute delays and people should plan for extra travel time. Motorists should also expect to be guided by flagging personnel and signs, and access to intersections may be restricted at times. A speed limit of 40 mph will be enforced in work zones.
