Michigan’s football team entered Saturday with the longest winning streak in the nation.
That is no longer the case. No. 3 Texas throttled the Wolverines 31-12 at Michigan Stadium in the first top-10 matchup of the 2024 season. It was the marquee game of the week, but it didn’t play out like most experts anticipated. Oddsmakers listed Texas as a 6.5-point favorite, but it jumped all over Michigan early and led by 25 points entering the fourth quarter.
