The Utes beat the Southern Utah Thunderbirds 49-0 in their last outing. The Bears are coming off of a victory over the Tarleton State Texans by the score of 45-3. Against the Thunderbirds, Cameron Rising led the Utes with 254 yards on 10-of-15 passing (66.7%) for five touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball four times for 25 yards. Stanley carried the ball six times for 34 yards (5.7 yards per carry). He also had three receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns. Brant Kuithe had four receptions for 69 yards (17.3 per catch) and three touchdowns against the Thunderbirds. DeQuan Finn’s performance for the Bears against the Texans included 14-of-22 passing for 192 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He rushed six times for 19 yards and one touchdown. In that matchup, Richard Reese had an 18-carry, 78-yard game (4.3 yards per attempt). He tacked on two receptions for seven yards . Ketron Jackson Jr. collected two catches for 69 yards (on six targets), with one touchdown.
