College football Week 2 sharp bets including the Iowa-Iowa State over

The sharp money went 2-1 last week as the college football season kicked off in earnest. That was thanks to Texas covering against Colorado State and Fresno State covering against Michigan — Florida State and Boston College did not clear the over, ending a perfect 3-0 run.

Both Texas and Michigan are taking in sharp money again in Week 2, but this time as opponents.

College football Picks Against The Spread, Week 2: Colorado-Nebraska, Michigan-Texas lead a packed slate

There are seven college games at BetMGM where the line with a larger amount of bet slips is actually trailing the amount of money wagered on the other side.

Here’s the latest notable data as of Saturday morning:

Texas-Michigan Over (41.5) received 57 percent of all bets, but the under has received 55 percent of all money wagered

Kansas (-4.5) received 63 percent of all bets against the spread, but Illinois (+4.5) has received 57 percent of all money wagered

Iowa State-Iowa under (35) received 51 percent of all bets, but the over has received 54 percent of all money wagered

Georgia Tech (-3) received 52 percent of all bets against the spread, but Syracuse has received 55 percent of all money wagered

The under 61.5 in GT-Syracuse has received the 59 percent of all wagers, but the over has 63 percent of the handle

Louisville-Jacksonville State over (56.5) received 62 percent of all bets, but the under has received 77 percent of all money wagered

As always, more money doesn’t always equal more confidence, but it’s one indicator among many worth looking at before placing your wagers on Saturday.
