No new names appeared on the Tennessee Titans injury report Thursday ahead of the team’s NFL season opener against the Chicago Bears on Sunday (noon, FOX).
Safety Jamal Adams, receiver DeAndre Hopkins and linebacker Otis Reese IV remain the only three players on the injury report, with two players listed as limited participants on Thursday. Adams did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, putting his status for Sunday’s opener in question for the veteran signed as a free agent in July.

Speaking to media after practice, Hopkins was non-committal but optimistic about being able to play this weekend.
“I feel great,” Hopkins said of his status Thursday. “We’ll see Sunday. Football players, we’ve got a lot of pain all the time. I don’t know who’s not in pain playing football.”
Cornerbacks L’Jarius Sneed and Chidobe Awuzie were full participants again Thursday, putting their training camp injuries and management programs behind them.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Adams said he feels he’s getting closer to being healthy. The former All Pro hasn’t practiced much and didn’t play in the preseason because of a combination of his hip injury and a veteran rest management plan after sustaining multiple season-ending injuries in the past four years.
