Celebrating all things dachshunds! That’s what folks will be doing in Belfast this Sunday for the Maine Wienerfest!
The 20th anniversary Maine Wienerfest is a celebration of dachshunds and the people who love them.
Maine Wienerfest is being held at the Steamboat Landing Park in Belfast from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Activities to include:
Grand parade of dachshundsCanine costume contestDoxie distance dashSales tent with Wienerfest items and raffle opportunitiesHotdog standIce cream truck
The Maine Wienerfest will be held rain or shine.
Admission is $5 for adults; free for children 12 and under and dogs.
The event is being hosted by the nonprofit animal shelter P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center.
