Kentucky women, what presidential election issues are most important?

Louisville Courier Journal

The 2024 presidential election is shaping up to be one with issues impacting women and families at the forefront. As the campaigns heat up and the candidates reveal more about their plans, we want to hear from Kentucky women.

What issues are most important to you in this election? Where do you stand on those issues and why? According to the Pew Research Center, “voters differ sharply over the state of women’s progress in the U.S., as well as over whether society should prioritize marriage and children.”

The Courier Journal is planning a special section and conversation focused on the views of women in Kentucky. Why specifically women? Because not only is a woman on the ballot for the country’s highest office but also because some of the most controversial issues impact women. Abortion rights, contraception and in vitro fertilization are front and center in policy debates for presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Whether you support Trump, Harris or none of the above, we want to hear from you. Tell us the issues that matter the most. Help us represent what women of Kentucky care about in this important election.
