BALTIMORE, Md. (WBFF) — The Maryland State Fair is heading into its second weekend, with so much to see and do.
The Cow Palace is living up to its name with hundreds of cows getting ready for a sort of “beauty pageant.”
Maryland Holstein Associate, Brett Haines, says there are more than 400 cows and 7 different dairy breeds.
“We are looking for the ideal animal, the animal that will show us the best ability to make a good product for the consumer,” Haines says.
FOX45 also takes a look at Fast Action Motor Sports attraction that visitors can play while at the State Fair.
“Free racing, four times a day … the whole family can race,” says Robb Strobridge with Fast Action Motor Sports.
There is also a farm and garden, visitors can look through at the Maryland State Fair.
Bill Langlotz says there are several award-winning items grown in Maryland garden .
“Everything is judges on quality,” Langlotz says.
