Little Rock police officers found an adult man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds while responding to a call at 10th and Main streets at 1:21 p.m. on Thursday, marking the 30th homicide in Little Rock in 2024, according to the city’s crime statistics.
The man died from his injuries at a local hospital. Police have not released the name of the victim or any suspects. Homicide detectives are investigating.
Overall murders have declined by about 20% in Little Rock so far this year. There were 38 homicides in Little Rock for the first half a 2023.
