As we approach the start of the 2024 college football season, USA TODAY has released its postseason projections, and the Cornhuskers are going bowling. Nebraska is projected to face Georgia Tech in the Pinstripe Bowl.
The Pinstripe Bowl will be played on Saturday, December 28, at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The Huskers hope this is the year they will break their post-season drought.
Nebraska has not played in a post-season game in the 2016 Music City Bowl. That game saw the Cornhuskers fall to Tennessee 38-24.
Interestingly, Nebraska has previously played a bowl game at Yankee Stadium. The program played in the 1962 Gotham Bowl when the Huskers defeated Miami 36-34.
The Huskers have played in 53 bowl games and hold an all-time record of 26-27. Below is a list of the bowl games affiliated with the Big Ten Conference.
