Pennsylvania woman sentenced for 2020 death at Gifford Pinchot State Park

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Pennsylvania woman may spend decades in prison for the death of a woman years ago at Gifford Pinchot State Park.

Online court documents show that Jolie Harris, 44, of Delaware County, was sentenced Thursday, Aug. 22, to spend between 15 and 30 years in prison by Judge Harry Ness. Following her release, Harris will have to undergo a year of probation.

Harris had previously pled guilty in April during a hearing to a charge of causing suicide, while two other murder charges were dismissed.
