What Arizona voters need to know about the 2024 election

Arizona voters will play a key role in deciding the next president of the U.S. Here’s everything to know about the upcoming November election.

In the election that ends Nov. 5, Arizona’s voters will elect a new U.S. senator, members of Congress, a new state Legislature, state utility and water regulators, county executives and supervisors, mayors, council members, school board members and justices of the peace.

They will decide ballot measures on abortion rights, immigration, primary voting and, in Maricopa County, a transportation tax.

Voters will get a chance to decide which judges will be retained in the state’s most populous counties and elected in the state’s smaller counties.

If you are a U.S. citizen and are 18 years old by Election Day, you are eligible to vote.
