Tennessee and Chattanooga will play for the 45th time in football on Saturday (12:45 p.m. EDT, SEC Network).
The Vols lead the in-state series, 40-2-2, dating to Nov. 12, 1892.
Tennessee and Chattanooga last played in football on Sept. 14, 2019, The Vols were victorious, 45-0, at Neyland Stadium. Jarrett Guarantano started at quarterback for the Vols. He completed 7-of-8 passing attempts for 142 yards and three touchdowns, while not recording an interception.
Running back Ty Chandler led Tennessee in rushing yards (46), while wide receiver Marquez Callaway led the Vols with 59 receiving yards.
86,208 were in attendance at Neyland Stadium for a 12:03 p.m. EDT kickoff.
