Homes in Rhode Island were battered by hail on Monday, August 26, as severe storms marched across the northeastern United States.
X user @kathchats said she filmed this video of hail hitting a home in East Greenwich on Monday.
The National Weather Service (NWS) said scattered hail was possible across multiple states and warned of wind gusts of up to 65mph.
Residents were advised to stay indoors until the storm passed, according to local news reports.
