ROMULUS, MI – Michigan’s largest airport has been nominated for three USA Today 10Best awards, all of which are open for voting now.
Detroit Metropolitan Airport is up for Best Large Airport, Best Airport for Dining and Best Airport for Shopping. It’s currently atop the leaderboard for dining and shopping and second for Best Large Airport.

For all three contests, voting is open through 11:59 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23. Fans of the airport can cast their ballots for it once per day in each category. Vote for Best Large Airport here. Vote for Best Airport for Dining here. Vote for Best Airport for Shopping here.
DTW works hard to provide “an excellent concessions program and amazing customer experience,” according to a news release from the Wayne County Airport Authority.

The airport offers nearly 100 dining and shopping options, and has earned several awards for customer service, satisfaction and experience, officials said.
