Fall camp is over and the offseason has officially come to an end. The Oregon Ducks will kick off their 2024 college football season this Saturday with a home stand against the Idaho Vandals, a spunky FCS school.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve seen Dan Lanning and his staff get the Ducks prepared for what is expected to be a huge season in Eugene, with Oregon ranked among the top schools in the nation preseason. So far, the Ducks have been a popular pick to win the national championship game.
There are a lot of new faces on the roster, both from the spring and the summer, while a lot of the veteran producers from last year returned for one more season as well. But how will they all flesh out on the depth chart, and who should we expect to see on the field first in Oregon’s Week 1 game against Idaho?
That’s what we’re here to try and figure out. Based on the information we’ve gleaned from watching practices and talking to coaches and players, here is our two-deep prediction as the season gets set to begin.
