They will be a good test for the Rams’ backups in the upcoming final preseason game. That public joint practice, which marked the end of the training camp, is likely the last opportunity for fans to see Houston’s starters before the season opener on September 8. Before that, the Texans organization had to cut their 90-person player roster to just 53, and the final date was next Tuesday, August 27.
The Texans will face the Rams in their preseason finale on Saturday at noon ET, giving fans one more chance to see their team in action before the regular season begins.
