Amid a slew of arrests, another foreign national was apprehended in Massachusetts and charged with multiple sex crimes.
The Biden-Harris administration’s invitation to and ongoing defense of so-called “asylum seekers” has continued to sow chaos throughout the United States including perpetuating violent crimes against American citizens that have cost lives.
In yet another instance combining the failure to uphold the laws with a broken system granting loopholes to criminals, the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Boston arrested a Brazilian national Tuesday whose charges included rape.
Jackson Bento-Pinheiro, 35, was said to have illegally entered the country on July 10, 2021, near San Ysidro, California where he was arrested and served notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge. Released under the Alternatives to Detention program, a statement on his arrest explained, “Bento reported to ERO Boston Aug. 22, 2021. Later that day, he was terminated from the ATD program.”

A warrant for his arrest was issued on April 26 “for the offense of violation of an abuse prevention order.”
Now, according to ERO Boston, “Jackson Bento-Pinheiro is charged with committing sex crimes against a Massachusetts resident. We simply can not allow anyone that poses such a threat to prey upon the residents of our communities. ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by aggressively apprehending and removing egregious noncitizen offenders from New England.”

The charges against the man arrested in Wakefield, Massachusetts included assault to rape, indecent assault and battery over 14 as well as domestic assault and battery.
His arrest took place the same day that ERO Boston arrested 26-year-old Haitian national Cory Bernard Alvarez who had been expected to appear in court for a hearing after being charged in March for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at a housing facility in Massachusetts.
Additionally, a day prior, Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin had highlighted a number of other foreign nationals who’d been apprehended by the agency with charges that included drug trafficking, rape, and kidnapping.
“Earlier this month, ICE Boston also announced the arrest of a verified Colombian gang leader who was caught and released at the border under the Biden/Harris admin and is wanted in Colombia for homicide and arms trafficking, as well as the arrest of a Brazilian illegal alien who is wanted for rape in his home country,” stated Melugin.
The correspondent went on to note, “These are the type of egregious criminals ICE holds in detention prior to deportation. Kamala Harris is on video during the 2020 election cycle, pledging at a campaign event in Iowa that she would close ICE detention centers on ‘day one’ if elected. It’s unclear where she stands on the issue now, as she continues to avoid media interviews or press conferences to talk about what her policies would be.”

Meanwhile, Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey (D) who had voiced her support for Harris’ presidential campaign, has overseen the disastrous sanctuary policies expected to cost the state nearly $2 billion at the current level of illegal occupation. The ever-increasing tab has facilitated over 300 “serious” incidents that occurred in shelters in 2024 alone as Center for Immigration Studies Director of Policy Studies Jessica Vaughn had told the Boston Herald, “The state is clearly failing to provide a safe environment for these migrants.”
