KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Pilot Co. and Tennessee Athletics entered into a multiyear partnership which will help preserve the 100-year-old Neyland Stadium, the home of the Volunteers football team at the University of Tennessee.
Under the terms of the agreement, the names of Neyland Stadium and its interior playing field, Shields-Watkins, will remain unchanged. Pilot has been designated the presenting partner of the stadium renovation project and will serve as the official travel stop of Tennessee Athletics.
The agreement is slated for up to 20 years and could extend further, the entities said.
