On Friday, August 9, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Gloria Gastelum, 54, and her son, German Vargas, 22, following a traffic stop on August 8. The pair were reportedly driving a rental car when sheriff’s deputies pulled them over near the intersection.
