Dr. Edward L. Birdsong, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and hand surgeon, will be the guest speaker at the next Rotary Club of Carson City meeting. Birdsong practices at the Swift Institute in Carson City.
He will discuss the various conditions affecting the hands and arms and the surgical treatments available to treat them. Dr. Birdsong has expertise in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery, as well as total shoulder replacement. He is a Fellow and Diplomat of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
The public is invited to attend the meeting which takes place Tuesday, August 13 at noon in the Brewery Arts Center’s Grand Ballroom, 449 West King Street, Carson City. Anyone interested in attending should email carsoncitynvrotary@gmail.com.
