Rodeo, monster trucks, and rough trucks back at Nevada County Fair | Sports

The Nevada County Fair is here, and the Bulls & Broncs Rodeo will be in action Thursday night at the Nevada County Fairgrounds arena. Explosive Entertainment LLC will put on the rodeo.

Get ready for the Nevada County Fair Ranch Bronc and Bull Riding featuring Muttin’ Bustin’ in Grass Valley, California, USA on Thursday, August 8, at 7 PM. Explosive Entertainment LLC leeps forward with cutting edge competition pitting some of the roughest, toughest bucking horses and bulls provided by Four Star Rodeo Comany, against some of the best  rough stock athletes the West Coast has to offer.

That’s not all, patriotism and pageantry provided by the Pretty Painted Ladies Horse Drill Team are scheduled in addition to sheep riding/muttin’ bustin’, and a knee slapping funny Rodeo Clown from Alabama. Cowboys, cowgirls with an enthusiastic audience, add a great sound system with the fun and excitement of America’s favorite sport, we will have a grande and memorable time for you and the entire family. 

All-Star Motorsports Production will put on Monster Trucks on Friday and Saturday, and there will be a Rough Truck Challenge on Sunday.

“The All-Star Monster Truck Tour returns to Grass Valley at the Nevada County Fair this Friday and Saturday for two ground-pounding nights of excitement,” Bryan Wagner, president of All-Star Motorsport Productions said. “Three new trucks never seen at the Nevada County Fairgrounds will compete, including The Veteran, First Responder, and Pretty Obsessed, taking on 2023 reigning champion Eric Swanson’s Obsessed. Joining the All-Star Monster Trucks this year will be the back-flipping excitement of Freestyle Motocross, as these pro riders will fly over a 75-foot wide gap, over 30 feet in the air, performing insane aerial stunts.”

The Rough Truck Challenge will hit the arena on Sunday for a fun, action-packed night.

“On Sunday, it’s the always wild side-by-side action with Stock Rough Trucks,” Wagner said. “Any stock car, truck, or SUV can register at the pit gate from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., with $1,000 cash awarded to the winner and $2,500 paid out to seven competitors throughout the evening. The vehicles will race two at a time in an elimination-style format until only one vehicle is left standing.”

The Bulls & Broncs Rodeo will start at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

For the monster trucks, spectator gates open at 5:30 PM on Friday and Saturday, with a Driver Autograph Session from 5:30 to 6:30 and showtime at 7:00 this Friday and Saturday.

As for the Rough Truck Challenge, gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, with the action kicking off at 7:00 p.m.
