The preseason US LBM Coaches Poll was released on Monday and the Colorado Buffaloes were among 10 Big 12 football teams that received at least one vote.
For comparison, the Buffs didn’t receive any votes in last year’s preseason poll but skyrocketed to No. 25 after upsetting the TCU Horned Frogs in Week 1. Colorado was ranked No. 21 after beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers in Week 2 before moving to a season-high spot of No. 19 after defeating Colorado State in Week 3.
Unfortunately for head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffs, they never returned to the top 25 following their Week 4 loss against the Oregon Ducks.
