The Colorado Buffaloes are looking to make moves in Year 2 of the Coach Prime era but quarterback Shedeur Sanders is also doing things off the field to increase his popularity. In the age of the world, it seems everyone has a podcast and the Buffs quarterback now has one as well.
Shedeur Sanders has announced his podcast with Overtime titled “2Legendary”, a play off his brand name with the first episode being officially released on Tuesday. He began merchandising with the SS2LEGENDARY brand name back in December 2021. This will certainly help his NIL status as he continues to expand his brand and will offer insight with each new episode.
As of this writing, the 2Legendary podcast feed does not pop up on the Podcast App on Apple but it will be interesting to see if it is a podcast worth listening to for college football fans.
What should we expect out of Shedeur Sanders this season?Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders (2) celebrates as fans storm the field after the overtime period of the Rocky Mountain Showdown against Colorado State University at Folsom Field on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, in Boulder, Colo. Shedeur Sanders has been one of the more exciting players in all of college football and is coming off a great first season with the Colorado Buffaloes. With an improved offensive line through recruiting, Sanders is going to be one of the favorites to win the 2024 Heisman Trophy.
Looking at what he did last season, he finished 298-of-430 (69.3%) for 3,230 yards with 27 touchdowns and three interceptions while rushing 111 times with four additional touchdowns. That should be the base after he was sacked 52 times and would leave multiple games with injuries due to inconsistent blocking.
Heading to the Big 12 Conference, he should be able to play well and have even more exposure. With Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. out wide and increased blocking, expect to see him being a star quarterback going forward for the Colorado Buffaloes and potentially make the College Football Playoff.
