The Colorado Buffaloes will enter fall camp with one less offensive lineman. OL Ethan Boyd, a redshirt junior transfer from Michigan State, played in all 12 games last season and started three for Michigan. Fortunately, the Buffs have plenty of depth and experience on the line this year, with strong competition among players.
On July 29, Buffs writer Brian Howell reported this on X: “Colorado opening camp on Monday with 109 players on the roster, including 77 scholarship players. One expected transfer who won’t be joining the team is Ethan Boyd (OL, Michigan State).” Shortly after, Howell shared another update: “I was told he decided to retire from football.”
