Hallmark’s Christmas In July Brings Us The Cheesiest Vermont Ski Movie Ever Made

VERMONT – While most people celebrate Shark Week in July, Hallmark celebrates Christmas. Yes, you heard me right, Christmas. For several weeks in the middle of the summer, Hallmark premiers several of their beloved incredibly cheesy Christmas movies to the delight of somebody I’ve certainly never met. This year, the Hallmark channel is releasing a movie based on skiing in Vermont, called ‘A Very Vermont Christmas‘, and it looks… well, I’ll let you decide.

“A local champion skier and Vermont brew master teams up with an unlikely match to create a seasonal microbrew in order to save her family’s business by Christmas.“

This movie has everything the Vermont ski bum could ever want! Ski slopes, micro brews, and actors who clearly don’t know how to ski pretending to be professional skiers. Look I haven’t seen this movie, and I certainly won’t see this movie, so this is definitely not an actual review. It’s a Hallmark movie. They’re not made for you and me, they’re made for people that want a G-rated guaranteed happy ending.

This one does feel especially cheesy though. Like it’s fully just making fun of itself. Who knows, maybe that was the intention.
