Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord and new Ohio State quarterback Will Howard have the same rating in EA Sports College Football 25.
McCord, who was the Buckeyes’ starting quarterback in 2023, has an 85 overall rating in the college football video game, which was released to patrons who had pre-ordered the game Monday. McCord’s rating is better than each of Ohio State’s quarterbacks other than Howard: Devin Brown (80), Julian Sayin (79), Air Noland (75) and Lincoln Kienholz (73).

McCord is the highest-rated Ohio State transfer in EA Sports College Football 25 ahead of players like Penn State wide receiver Julian Fleming (83), Colorado running back Dallan Hayden (82) and Kentucky running back Chip Trayanum (81).
Three Ohio State transfers were not on the EA Sports College Football 25 roster when it was first released: Northwestern linebacker Nigel Glover, Toledo offensive lineman Jakob James and Arizona State kicker Parker Lewis.
