Alabama football will kickoff the 2024 CFB season in 38 days

In 38 days, Kalen DeBoer will usher in a new era of Alabama Crimson Tide football, replacing the legendary Nick Saban as head coach in Tuscaloosa.

Coach DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will take on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Aug. 31 to kick off the 2024 college football season inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

At Roll Tide Wire, we will count down the days until Alabama football takes the field.

With 38 days remaining, we will take a look at a former standout running back, Glen Coffee.

Coffee ran for 2,107 and 14 touchdowns during his Alabama career, including a dominating junior season where he accumulated 1,383 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Coffee last played for the San Francisco 49ers in 2009 before abruptly retiring after just one season.
