Taylor Swift performed with boyfriend Travis Kelce in the crowd as her “Eras Tour” swept across Germany, while his Kansas City Chiefs teammates began NFL training camp.
The Chiefs tight end was seen attending her show while wearing a Nike green shirt and a cap at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on Wednesday. Kelce has now seen 13 shows after following her around the globe since winning Super Bowl LVIII with the Chiefs in Las Vegas.
Swift flew in from Tokyo to watch Kelce and the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime during a memorable Las Vegas finale, and since then her boyfriend has been returning the favor. Elsewhere, all rookies were required to attend training camp on July 16, with the attendance of quarterbacks also mandatory.
Patrick Mahomes was seen throwing passes to exciting rookie Louis Rees-Zammit, who was signed by the Chiefs via the International Player Pathway program after he quit professional rugby. Kelce will return to everyday life soon, and head coach Andy Reid sent a clear message to the tight end ahead of the 2024 NFL season.

It’s been 10 months since Swift was first spotted attending a Chiefs game, although the singer later confirmed they’d been dating for several months before she publicly confirmed the relationship rumors. Since that Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears, Kelce has become a mainstream celebrity and this is his first offseason while publicly in a relationship with Swift.
Reid has been supportive of Kelce’s romance with Swift since the start but issued a reminder to the tight end that he is a football player and needs to be ready when the time comes. “Training camp is kind of that proving ground. If you’re not ready to go, it’s going to be obvious quickly,” Reid said to reporters.
“Just from whether it’s a conditioning test or the long drive drills that we do. Those things that are, you’re going to find out who’s in and who’s not in and who’s put their time.”

When specifically asked about the commitments both Kelce and Mahomes have off the field, he added: “I’m okay with it, as long as they’re ready to go.”
The Chiefs are looking to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to achieve the three-peat, after winning back-to-back Super Bowls against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Niners. There have been concerns that Kelce may not be focused on the task ahead due to his new stardom, but Reid trusts that his star tight end will be as reliable as ever. Swift attended 12 NFL games last season during her busy schedule, and with Kelce busy for up to seven months of the year, he’s been making up lost time.
Swift will be absent for most of the regular season, with her “Eras Tour” shows officially set to come to an end on December 8. Should Kelce, and the Chiefs pick up where they left off, Swift will be free to attend their entire playoff run, and potentially a record-breaking Super Bowl triumph.
