New York Giants: 2 Wide Receivers Make 50 Players Under-the-Radar List

New York Giants

The New York Giants will have an exciting wide receiver room entering the 2024 season. To start the season, Malik Nabers, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Darius Slayton will be the starters for now. Two other players who could receive snaps throughout the year are also Jalin Hyatt and Allen Robinson.

Many people have undervalued the New York Giants wide receiver core because of quarterback play. What is also true is that the Giants have not had a 1,000-yard wide receiver since Odell Beckham Jr.New York GiantsCenter, Steve Smith, a former pro bowl NFL wide receiver, assisting with the NY Giants’ Jalin Hyatt (13) and rookie Malik Nabers (9). The NY Giants NFL team held an organized team activity at their training facility in East Rutherford, NJ on Thursday May 30, 2024.

Nabers was the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. It will be interesting to see how he will perform during his rookie season. A lot of New York Giants fans have a lot of expectations for the wide receiver this season.

CBS Sports Analyst Zachary Pereles created an article about 50 under-the-radar players entering the 2024 season. He had at least one player from each NFL team make this list. Pereles had two players from the New York Giants make this list and they were wide receivers, Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt.

Pereles said:

“The Giants selected Malik Nabers sixth overall, continuing to pour resources into wide receiver. Wan’Dale Robinson was a second-round pick two years ago, and Jalin Hyatt was a third-rounder just last year. Even if things go sideways for New York and Daniel Jones (who I considered too “on-the-radar” for this list), it would be nice to see Robinson and/or Hyatt emerge as legitimate young pieces. Robinson can do good things with the ball in his hands, but has missed a lot of time. Hyatt didn’t do much as a rookie.”

There is a chance Jalin Hyatt gets more of an opportunity in his second season depending on what happens to Darius Slayton. There are a lot of Giants fans who want to see Hyatt have more of a chance this season.

The New York Giants might want to throw it deep more this season. It will be important for Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt to have a good season because they need to take some pressure off of Malik Nabers. It will be interesting to see what happens, but there is no doubt that those two names will be someone to watch for.
