We’re hearing from Kellyanne Conway now, who served as Senior Counselor to the President during the Trump administration from 2017 to 2020.
“Donald Trump and his family made enormous sacrifices to run for president,” she says, saying the Trump family are making “sacrifices” again by running eight years later.
She says he could be playing golf everyday and “enjoying a magnificent life” with his “extraordinary” and “elegant” wife Melania Trump, which gets a cheer — for reference, we’re yet to spot her at the RNC this week.
“He does not need to do this, but we need him to do this,” Conway continues, saying she often hears people saying they “want Trump’s policies without his personality”.
“We don’t get those policies without that personality,” she says.
