Mason Graham promises that Michigan football won’t ‘fall off’

Plenty of college football fans, including most rivals of Michigan football expect the Wolverines to have a big drop off in 2024.

There are some reasons for that that make sense such as Jim Harbaugh, one of the best head coaches in college football, going back to the NFL to coach the Chargers.

Sherrone Moore is going into his first season but he showed last season against Ohio State and Penn State that he’s plenty capable. My prediction is that Moore is the Michigan football head for the next decade or so. He’s going to have success starting this season.

That’s my belief. But Michigan football does have to replace some of its best players from last season. Yet, the Wolverines do have Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant back on the defensive line as well as cornerback Will Johnson who is rated as the best player in EA Sports College Football 25.

Roster turnover is just part of college football but there is enough talent on this roster to get back to the playoff and if everything goes right, maybe another national championship.

Graham, who is entering his junior season said that Michigan football players have heard the chatter that the Wolverines aren’t going to drop off this season. Some have said that they will go 8-4. One ESPN analyst went as far as to say that Texas would “thump” the Wolverines.

“We’re not gonna fall off, what everyone is saying. It’s about the guys at Schembechler Hall coming together,” Graham said recently to Trevor McCue of Maize and Blue Review. “Some people think with all the accolades and achievements, you just fall off. Coach Moore coming in, we have the same mindset. Get back to where we were at. Do all the same things.”
