Former Wisconsin Badgers to report to 2024 NFL training camp Tuesday

Nine former Wisconsin Badgers are set to begin official preparation for the 2024 NFL season later today — Tuesday, July 16.

Those players are OG David Edwards (Buffalo Bills), ILB T.J. Edwards (Chicago Bears), ILB Jack Sanborn (Chicago Bears), ILB Leo Chenal (Kansas City Chiefs), FB Alec Ingold (Miami Dolphins), CB Jason Maitre (Miami Dolphins), TE Hayden Rucci (Miami Dolphins), OT Ryan Ramczyk (New Orleans Saints) and QB Tanner Mordecai (San Francisco 49ers).

The nine players are set to report as the Bills, Bears, Los Angeles Chargers, Chiefs, Dolphins, New York Giants, Saints and 49ers all begin their respective training camps. The rest of the NFL will follow suit in the coming days.

NFL Season: 6th (2nd with the Bills)

Notes: Super Bowl champion with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. Signed with the Bills as a swing lineman before the 2023 season. Projects to start at left guard in 2024.

Notes: Went from undrafted free agent to starting all 17 games for NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in 2022, signed a 3-year, $19.5 million contract with the Chicago Bears before 2023 season.
