The Buckeyes have the best defense in the video game at 96 overall, better than teams including Georgia (94), Oregon (90), Alabama (90) and Michigan (90).
Ohio State has the best safety in the video game in Caleb Downs, while players such as defensive end Jack Sawyer, cornerback Denzel Burke and defensive tackle Tyleik Williams are also ranked as top-100 players.
Ohio State will have a few defensive players missing from its roster on College Football 25: defensive ends J.T. Tuimoloau, Eddrick Houston and Dominic Kirks, defensive tackle Will Smith Jr. and linebacker Garrett Stover. Punter Nick McLarty will also not be in the game at its release.
