College Football 25 video game is finally here as it releases today (Monday, July 15) at 4:00 PM EST if you ordered the Deluxe Edition. If you get the Standard Edition, it will be released on Friday, July 19th.
While I know that video games are not for everyone, it seems like there is a large population of individuals who are excited about the video game series returning for the first time since NCAA Football 14 (gosh, I feel old).
I will be sure to tell my grandchildren about these moments. There isn’t anything like having the college football video game series make its return then the actual Florida State Seminoles will be kicking off in Dublin, Ireland versus Georgia Tech on August 24th.
While I realize that the video game will be released to the general public later today, former Florida State running back Trey Benson got early access to College Football 25.
In Benson’s Instagram story, he showcased the Florida State-based main menu screen for the video game. Plus, he showcased redshirt senior running back Caziah Holmes in his No. 26 jersey.

It is well-known that running back Trey Benson was a focal point in the Seminoles’ offense during the 2023 season. He was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Benson was able to have several long-yardage gains to generate explosive plays for Florida State. He accumulated 1,800+ yards and 23 touchdowns during his two seasons in Tallahassee.
However, the Seminoles still have a ton of talent in running back coach David Johnson’s position group where he has pieces such as Lawrance Toafili, Caziah Holmes, Roydell Williams, Jaylin Lucas, Samuel Singleton Jr., Kameron Davis, and Micahi Danzy.
It will be so exciting to play the College Football 25 video game. I wish that fans were allowed to play with Benson last season when he suited up in the garnet and gold.
