The New York Jets are all-in for 2024.
Ahead of last season, the Jets were viewed as legitimate Super Bowl contenders — and now with a healthy Aaron Rodgers and capable backup in case the worst case scenario happened again — New York is heading into 2024 with aspirations to bring home a Lombardi Trophy.
On paper, it’s hard to argue the Jets roster isn’t capable of contending with anyone in the NFL. Offensively, they have talent across the board — from running back Breece Hall — who has become one of the most dynamic ball-carriers in the league, to a wide receiving corps loaded with talent. Garrett Wilson is solidified himself as the New York Jets No. 1 wideout and has proven himself as one of the top young wideouts in the league.
The Jets made a few aggressive moves in free agency — most notably adding Mike Williams — who has thrived as a big-bodied target for the Chargers since he was drafted out of Clemson.
New York added another target for Rodgers in the NFL Draft, adding Western Kentucky wideout Malachi Corley in the third round. The New York Jets also made significant moves to protect their star franchise QB, adding significant talent across the offensive line. They signed former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl tackle Tyron Smith and added Morgan Moses from the Ravens who is a top-tier right tackle. They also drafted one of the best tackles of the 2024 class, selecting Penn State tackle Olu Fashanu with the No. 11 overall pick in the first round.
Defensively, the Jets are loaded just like they were heading into last season. They closed out last season with the No. 3 defense in the NFL, allowing less than 300 yards per game. They added a few significant role players, adding DT Javon Kinlaw and safety Chuck Clark.
Even with adding Williams and Corley to the receiving corps, there have been rumors floating about a potential reunion with Rodgers and Davante Adams, who was his go-to pass-catcher with the Packers. While Adams claims he’s currently happy with the Raiders, there have been indications the star receiver could re-join Rodgers on the Jets roster in 2024.

A day after Aaron Rodgers said that he “can’t wait” to reunite with his former Packers teammate, Jets running back Breece Hall spoke as if Adams has already been traded from Las Vegas to New York.
Hall was asked if Adams’ possible addition to the Jets’ offense would alter his plans to be New York’s most-used skill player next season sans Rodgers.
“Nah, I’m getting the ball the second-most, regardless,” Hall told Kay Adams. “Davante, he knows he’s going to get his.”
So, does this mean that Adams is indeed coming to join the New York Jets?
“Hey, you never know,” Hall replied. “You never know. We’re always talking. We’re always scheming.”
In addition to Hall, Garrett Wilson would certainly welcome Adams to the Jets. New York’s WR1 definitely embraces the thought.
“I see that. I’m excited. I’m with all of it,” Wilson said, via the New York Post. “Anyone we can get into the facility to help this team win games, I’m with it and he’s one of those.”

Already expected to be a formidable group, the New York Jets‘ offense would downright scary if they were able to acquire Adams, a six-time Pro Bowler who led the NFL in touchdown catches two out of the last four years. Adams would join a Jets offense that already features four-time league MVP Rodgers, Hall (who amassed nearly 1,600 all-purpose yards last year), 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson and former Chargers 1,000-yard wideout Mike Williams.
“I think we should (go all-in),” Hall said when asked about the possibility of acquiring Adams. “I’m on board. I mean, with him, with Garrett and Mike Williams. Just pick your poison. Do you want me to beat you, or do you want those two beating you with Aaron. Pick your poison.”
