2014-15 ALL-USA Nevada Girls Basketball Team

USA TODAY High School Sports is proud to announce the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Nevada Girls Basketball Team. Players were selected based on their athletic achievements from the 2014-15 season.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Karen Weitz, Centennial (Las Vegas)
Weitz guided the Bulldogs to a 31-2 record and the Division I state championship, the school’s seventh and first since 2011. She is just the second coach in state history to surpass 500 career victories. She was also named the Northwest League’s coach of the year.

FIRST TEAM

Player of the Year
Mallory McGwire, C, Reno, 6-4, Jr.
McGwire averaged 21.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 6.9 blocks and 2.4 assists per game this season while helping the Huskies to a 23-4 record and the Division I regional final. She is a two-time Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year. She is also the niece of former major league slugger Mark McGwire and the daughter of former NFL quarterback Dan McGwire.

Justice Ethridge, G/F, Centennial (Las Vegas), 5-8, Fr.

Ariona Gill, G/F, Arbor View (Las Vegas), 5-11, Sr.

Nakiyah LeSure, F, Reed (Sparks), 6-0, Sr.
